I purchased this washer in Feb. of this year. The front load door became stuck and the clothes were locked in the washer for 3 days until a repair man came out and showed us how to open the door when it locks. A part had to be replaced and the machine was only 3 months old at the time.

The washing machine has been good so far. There is a strange whining noise that may be normal and just different then our previous machine. But overall it is a very quiet machine. The clasp seems a little cheap, and I expect it won't last. Overall not a bad machine.

I am pleased with the Whirlpool washer after approximately a month of use. It works as expected. No issues, runs quiet and completes washes as instructed. TumbleFresh option and Digital Time display are excellent features on this washer!

I had this washer little more than a year. Since the day I had this washer, no other options are working other than normal wash.
I had sevice more than three times and still not fixed yet. ( Somtimes they are not even show up for service even scheduled)
Don't Buy This. I had to call service from day one I plug in.

Really enjoy all the features of this machine. Especially selecting the spin cycle - lower helps with wrinkle free clothes. Also like the added rinse feature.
The cycle finished alarm could be louder as our machine is downstairs and can't always hear it. The machine is quiet t when running however.
Also, must read instructions to learn how to get use of all features but that's normal with most new appliances.
Good d machine overall so far after 3 months use.

Have had it for approximately for 6 months. Don't like that you just get near to it and it goes on and has to be turned off. Also don't like soap dispenser having to change from dry to liquid.

Les vêtements sont presque sec après le cycle de lavage régulier, donc moins de temps de séchage! J'utilise une très petite quantité de détergent et les vêtements sont vraiment propre.

The detergent drawer is full of mold. I wash it out and it comes back so quickly!
Called the manufacturer and they told me to use washing machine cleaner periodically but it's not helping - after the cycle the mold is still there. Only way to get rid of it is to manually clean it and I definitely don't have time for that..... frustrating!!

Ordered the whole suite..fridge,stove,microwave,dishwasher,washer,dryer. The washer has acted like a used piece of garbage. Good deals refuses to replace it as I bought the warranty. Had to replace door as full of scratches. To do a load of white the timer reads 9 hours. Can't just wash one blouse as the sensor does not understand a small load. Sounds like a Mack truck when running.

I have had this washer less than a year and have had the door lock and not open five times. Have had to unplug it, wait awhile and then plug it back in to reset it. Once that didn't work and we had to take the top off to manually open it from the inside as it was full of clothes I needed for my vacation the next day. Has totally been a lemon and is locked up again and full of laundry! Would never buy whirlpool again!

Love everything about this washer except there is no light inside. I couldn't believe it. The older you get, the more important this feature. I would rate much higher but I really hate that I can't see inside!! Dryer to go with it has same problem!

Washer has been great, and they've improved the drainage/air flow in the gasket, so that's a major improvement. However, noisier than my previous whirlpool front loader (really hear the water when it's running through the machine); don't like that I can no longer add or subtract time from the wash cycle; and no rinse-only cycle, which I'm pretty sure previous one had. cleans clothes well, though!

I bought this washer a little over a year ago. I was gone for most of the summer, so it is not like it has been overused. Yet, now it will not drain and spin the clothes out. Instead, it throws up codes and locks the door for hours before I can get it to release. The error codes seem to indicate that it will require parts, and thank to the fact that I am outside of the year, there is no manufacturer's warranty. I will have to pay for the service call and then potentially the parts. I have already researched them online and with the inevitable markup from the service company, this will probably end up costing almost as much as the washer did. So frustrated!
