I bought this washer in july and ever since i had problems with it. When it finshes washing il find dry spots with soap stains it doesn't give enough water to wash the clothes right and when i called may tag because i have a warranty with them all she could say is we could send the service to you but if they see thats the problem is coming from you . You will have to pay a service charge ? So what was the point of paying the warranty. Very disappointing!!!!

The washer only fills up to 2 inches of water. Apparently this is how they get the efficiency rating. The dryer that came with this set has a dryness sensor that always shuts the dryer off when the clothes are still wet.

Not happy with this washer. I bought it so i do do bigger loads, with more water. NO Matter what i put in . It does not seem to put enough water in. For such a large tub. I am very disappointed!!!!!!! A lot of MONEY for this washer. Make the ones that you select small, med or large load and get the water you need.

I was so pleased with our pretty new matching washer and dryer set we bought for our remodeled laundry room. We thought we had the perfect washer, but only 15 months after purchasing it, we are having to pay nearly $300 to have a sensor replaced. We've had 3 Maytag washers in our 49 years of marriage and have never had to call in a repairman. If there was a problem my husband could repair it, but that is no longer the case with all the new electronic sensors. I would so love to have an old well-made Maytag washer back in my laundry room!!! Plus I'm not even sure the dryer isn't starting to malfunction! What happened to quality Maytag appliances???!!!!!

I love this machine because it has an ample amount of cycle options, it's quiet when running, and it gets our clothes clean! When on auto-fill, I feel like there is not enough water to fully saturate the clothes so I use max-fill. This option does not fill the tub, but it does cover whatever amount of clothes are in the washer.

Solid machine

We were so glad to get a traditional agitator on a modern HE machine. This washer has been performing very well for us with loads of all sizes. Clothes definitely get moved around better with the agitator than they did with the impeller on our prior HE machine. It's physically much heavier too which to me indicates a higher quality build construction.

14 inches of water!

I just bought my washer very recently. I have look to find a washer that has enough water to actually wash my clothes on the first time sense the government changed the rules. I am very happy this washer. I has all the features that are important to me. It is 14 inches of water just like I was told. Price was also very good.

Great washer!

I'm using my washing machine for a month and a half now, and each time a get clean clothes, like it's suppose to be! To me, the only things it's missing is a soaking function and better management of the volume of the functions. I didn't put 5 stars for capacity of load, just because I still have to adapt myself at the new guide line with the water level, even if we have a deep fill option.
